US imposed new sanctions on Iranian liquefied petroleum gas businessman Seyed Asadoollah Emamjomeh and his network for evading US sanctions and funding Iran's nuclear weapons programme, the Treasury Department said. This came amid ongoing nuclear talks between US and Iran. "Emamjomeh...sought to export...shipments of LPG --including from US-- to evade sanctions...and generate revenue," it added.
