A US judge has formally dismissed a criminal case against two jail guards responsible for monitoring convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein the night he killed himself. The guards were accused of falling asleep and surfing the internet that night rather than checking on Epstein every 30 minutes. Later, they falsified records to make it seem they were monitoring Epstein properly.
