The US government has launched a probe against 60 trading partners, including India and China, over alleged failures to curb imports of goods produced with forced labour. It said companies using forced labour benefit from artificially lower labour costs, disadvantaging US exporters. This comes days after the US launched an "unfair trade" probe against 16 trading partners, including India.
