A 69-year-old Wisconsin man skipped an hour-long drive by flying his helicopter to a store's parking lot. When questioned by deputies after the unusual landing, he simply said, "The drive was too long." Authorities confirmed the licensed pilot followed federal regulations, cooperated fully and was not cited for any violations after the incident.
