A US man pleaded guilty on November 4 to committing crypto fraud in September 2012 that amounted to $3.36 billion. The US Department of Justice seized $3.36 billion of bitcoin from James Zhong, who "unlawfully obtained" more than 50,000 bitcoin from dark web market Silk Road over 10 years ago. This was the second-largest financial seizure by the Justice Department.
