A man who was imprisoned for 31 years for a crime he didn't commit has been awarded $75 (approximately ₹5,100) as compensation by the Tennessee Department of Corrections, US. Lawrence McKinney, released after DNA evidence cleared him of rape and burglary charges, is demanding $1 million. However, the Board of Parole claimed it didn't find "convincing" evidence of his innocence.
