The United States is facing its worst measles outbreak in 35 years, with 2,318 confirmed cases reported in just the first seven months of 2026, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The latest figures have already surpassed the 2,289 cases recorded during the whole of 2025, highlighting a rapidly growing public health concern.
