The United States military on Sunday successfully completed a $230 million test of a missile defense system to identify and eliminate ballistic and cruise missiles. The US Missiles Defense Agency said in a statement that it was a highly complex operational test. It displayed the ability of Aegis and THAAD weapons systems to negate threats from cruise and ballistic missiles.
