The US is the most powerful country influencing the Asia-Pacific, however, China is closing in on the US, according to Sydney-based Lowy Institute's Asia Power Index for 2020. The US is followed by China, Japan and India in the list. India got an overall score of 39.7 out of 100 in the list, 1.3 points less than a year earlier.
