US negotiating agreement for long-term troop presence in Venezuela: Report

US President Donald Trump's administration is negotiating an agreement with Venezuela for long-term military presence in the country, New York Times reported citing sources. The report added that Secretary of State Marco Rubio is discussing a status of forces agreement (SOFA) with Venezuelan officials. The agreement will reportedly include training, military exercises and humanitarian assistance.
