The US embassy in London is offering grants worth around $500,000 for public education programs that focus on "shared civilisational values" of US and UK, The Guardian reported. UK MP Lisa Smart accused US of attempting to "meddle in British democracy" and politics as the grants will reportedly be given to groups viewed favourably by US President Donald Trump's administration.
