US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has ordered Amazon to recall over 4 lakh items sold by third-party sellers between 2018-2021. CPSC said Amazon is legally accountable for the defective highly flammable children's pajamas, faulty carbon monoxide detectors, and unsafe hair dryers. Amazon allegedly didn't take enough steps to encourage customers to return or destroy them.
