The US Police tackled and handcuffed a pitch invader after he breached security and hugged India captain Rohit Sharma on the field during India's T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up match against Bangladesh. Rohit was seen asking the policemen to go easy on the fan. The match took place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
