Janet Yellen, the first woman to be the US Treasury Secretary and Chair of the Federal Reserve, unveiled the first US currency notes to feature signatures of two women, Yellen and US Treasurer Lynn Malerba. A spokesperson said the updated notes of denominations $1 and $5 will be delivered to Federal Reserve early next year and enter currency circulation thereafter.
