A group of US public figures signed a statement calling for ban on developing superintelligent AI until public demands it and science paves safe way forward. Over 850 people including Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak, "Godfather of AI" Geoffrey Hinton, UK Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, signed the statement, which adds to growing list of calls for AI slowdown.
