US rejects IRGC claim of Hormuz strikes as ‘act of aggression’

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) rejected as false the IRGC's claim that US strikes against its forces involved in laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz constituted an "act of aggression." It added US forces had taken "limited, precise action" against IRGC minelaying units that posed an "imminent threat" to navigation and security in the strategic waterway.
