The US has restricted charter flights from India accusing it of engaging in "unfair and discriminatory practices", adding Air India's advertised schedule is 53% of pre-coronavirus operations. It said US carriers were prohibited from flying to India. "Considering this rate of flying, and that Air India is selling tickets on the market, the charters go beyond true repatriations," it added.
