US-based startup Verifly has launched an on-demand, per-flight insurance for drone users with a new mobile app and service. The Verifly app draws a 400-metre circle around users and provides an estimated risk after analysing information from its proprietary geospatial and weather databases. It accordingly sets a price for the drone pilot on a policy which they can buy on-the-spot.
