US startup Sunday Robotics unveiled ACT-2, the AI model powering its home robot, Memo. The company said Memo folded laundry with over 99% success in unfamiliar homes, including garments it had never been trained on. Sunday Robotics added that a single fine-tuning example can teach the pretrained model new behaviours that generalise across tasks, marking a robotics breakthrough.
