Major stock indexes and the US dollar dropped on Thursday amid US President Donald Trump's trade war with China and fears that China may once again respond to the US with higher tariffs. S&P 500 ended down more than 3%, Nasdaq was down more than 4%, and Dow was down 2.5%. US dollar hit a 10-year low against Swiss franc.
