US stocks rebound, gold dips as Trump retracts Greenland threat

The US stock market rebounded to a two-month-high on Thursday after US President Donald Trump dropped tariff threats and ruled out seizing Greenland from an ally by force. Following the announcement, Wall Street indexes rose 1.16%, their highest in two months, while European futures rose 1.3%. Further, gold has dropped nearly $100/ounce to $4,790 from a record high of $4,887.
