US suspends Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL and Microsoft from green card programme

The US has suspended Microsoft, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCLTech, Capgemini and Adobe, from the Permanent Labour Certification programme, which allows companies to sponsor H-1B visa holders for green cards. US Labour Secretary Keith Sonderling said the action was taken due to multiple federal investigations. US Vice President JD Vance accused Microsoft of committing immigration fraud.
