US team builds AI device that can move human fingers with just voice commands
MIT researchers built an experimental AI wearable called Human Operator that can briefly move a user's fingers and wrist. It combines head-mounted camera, voice commands and AI with electrical muscle stimulation to turn spoken instructions into electrical signals that activate muscles. Human Operator is intended as an exploration of embodied AI and human augmentation rather than commercial device.
