Four teenage girls in the US have developed Project Deer, an AI-powered wildlife detection device to prevent animal accidents on the road. The device uses thermal imaging and AI to detect animals based on body heat, even in complete darkness or fog. On spotting movement, it sends a real-time alert to the driver through light/sound to slow down.
