US Border Chief Michael Banks said "illegal aliens" that entered US without inspection will be given $5,000 apprehension fee. The fee was authorised under Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which included billions for immigration enforcement and penalties for unlawful entry, reported Bloomberg. Banks added that fee would be imposed regardless of their time in US or pending immigration cases.
