The Donald Trump administration has told the US Congress that it intends to label Haitian gangs as foreign terrorist organisations, report said. It added that sanctions and penalties could be imposed on those who provide "material support" for these gangs. Earlier this year, US government designated Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua as foreign terror organisation and deported its alleged members.
