US to resume direct flights with Venezuela after seven years

US' State Department announced on Thursday that the country will resume direct commercial flights with Venezuela after seven years. This comes one month after US reopened its embassy in Venezuela's capital city Caracas and captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in January. US' Homeland Security Department suspended flights with Venezuela indefinitely in 2019, citing security concerns.
