India was added by the US Treasury department in the list of 34 nations with which the US would share information under Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA). With this pact, the Indian government will receive information about the Indian tax residents who hold accounts in US banks and financial institutions, and thus track black money stashed in the US.
