The US on Thursday deployed troops and tanks in Poland, in one of the biggest US deployments in Europe since the end of the Cold War. This reportedly is the first-ever continuous deployment to the region by a NATO ally. This comes after Russia recently deployed nuclear-capable Iskander missiles in Kaliningrad, the Russian territory between Poland and Lithuania.
