US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday urged Saudi Arabia to consider normalising relations with Israel. Pompeo also said that he hopes the country will encourage Palestinian leaders to return to negotiations with Israel. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain signed agreements toward normalising relations with Israel in September, becoming the first Gulf Arab countries to do so.
