The US wants India to buy another $5-6 billion worth of American farm goods for reinstatement of benefits under Generalized System of Preferences, reports said. The GSP allowed zero tariffs on $5.6 billion of Indian exports to the US. India has offered partial relief on medical device price caps and a roll-back in tariffs on some US goods, reports added.
