A woman from US' Texas, Brittany Lacayo, has been verified as having the widest tongue (female) by Guinness World Records. Her tongue measures 7.90 cm (3.11 in) at its widest point. "It is neat and kind of funny," Lacayo said. Brian Thompson, who is also a US citizen, holds the male widest tongue record at 8.88 cm.
