A US woman's blood turned navy blue after she took a pain relief medicine following a toothache. The woman was treated with an antidote, methylene blue, at a hospital. Doctors said the condition had been triggered by benzocaine. She was given a second dose and spent the night in the hospital for observation before being sent home the next morning.
