R'Bonney Gabriel from the USA has been crowned Miss Universe in the 71st edition of the pageant which was held in New Orleans. The winner was crowned by India's Harnaaz Sandhu, who won the pageant in December 2021. Venezuela's Amanda Dudamel is the first runner up and Dominican Republic's Andreína Martínez is the second runner up.
