A US-based virtual reality company META.is is suing Meta for allegedly stealing its name and violating the company’s established brand. Meta.is in a post wrote, "Facebook seized our META mark and name, which we put our blood, sweat and tears into building for over 12 years." It added that it had discussed a potential partnership with Facebook in 2017.
