US-based startup LifeShip has said it is planning to send the DNA of humans to the Moon. The startup claimed it will collect saliva from people, extract their DNA, preserve it in an "artificial amber" and send it to the lunar surface. LifeShip said it will soon launch a Kickstarter campaign to sell DNA-collection kits for $99 for the purpose.
