Garry Tan, Founder of US-based Initialized Capital, will take over as President and CEO of startup accelerator Y Combinator (YC) in 2023. Geoff Ralston, who has been associated with YC since 2011, will step down. Tan will continue to serve at Initialized Capital until the transition after which, he will serve as a strategic advisor to the company.
