After users in North America reported issues with email service Outlook, Microsoft said it was investigating the matter. Over 2,000 incidents of people facing issues with accessing, sending or searching emails on the platform were reported, according to Downdetector.com. In a tweet, Microsoft said that a "recent change" led to the issue and the company was working to restore services.
