Users to be able to use Google Search & Chrome to detect AI content

Google will expand its AI content identification tools, SynthID (invisible digital watermarks in AI content) and C2PA Content Credentials, to Google Search and Chrome. Users will be able to use Google's 'Circle to Search' feature or right-click an image online to check whether it was generated/edited with AI. NVIDIA, OpenAI, Kakao, and ElevenLabs have adopted Google DeepMind's SynthID.
