As government introduced VB-G RAM G Bill to replace Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in Parliament CPI(M)'s John Brittas said, "It's a shame that Ram is used to assassinate Gandhi again." He said under the new bill, financial burden of ₹50,000 crores is being transferred to states. "We'll oppose this bill tooth and nail," he added.
