A claim stating that Uttar Pradesh has implemented a law prohibiting people who have more than two children from applying for government jobs and schemes has gone viral on social media. However, upon fact-checking, it was found that while there is a draft bill proposing this policy, it has not been implemented in the state as of 10 June 2024.
