Uttarakhand approves 'Agniveer Rozgar Cell', becomes 1st state to do so

Uttarakhand Cabinet, chaired by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, approved a dedicated Agniveer Rozgar Cell, making it the first state to do so. It will support former Agniveers in returning to civilian life through employment, self-employment, career guidance and training. Agniveers serve for four years under the Agnipath Scheme and up to 25% per batch are retained in the Armed Forces.
