Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on July 17 announced establishment of 'Agniveer Employment Cell'. With this, Uttarakhand became the first state to create a dedicated post-service resettlement and employment mechanism for Agniveers. Conceptualised by gallantry awardee Colonel (Retd) Ajay Kothiyal, the cell will facilitate second-career avenues for Agniveers and ensure a smooth career transition.
