A night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am has been imposed in Uttarakhand from Monday owing to the Omicron COVID-19 variant. All essential services like healthcare, movement of vehicles carrying health personnel, postal services have been exempted from the curfew. At 142, while Delhi has the highest number of Omicron cases, Uttarakhand reported its first case on December 22.
