Calling journalists in Uttarakhand 'frontline workers', the state government has announced vaccination for them without any age restrictions. It said that journalists have supported the fight against the coronavirus pandemic "as frontline workers for communication, spreading awareness and giving out the correct information". State Information Directorate staff will also be vaccinated.
