A week-long winter carnival kicked off in Nainital, Uttarakhand on Sunday. The carnival, which is in its second year, features activities such as bird watching, heritage trails, cultural performances and photography contests. "There are several stage items in which folk artists and Bollywood singers are also performing," said Nainital District Magistrate Deepak Rawat.
