The World Uyghur Congress (WUC) and the Uyghur Centre for Democracy and Human Rights (UZDM) have condemned recent phishing attacks targeting their organisations and key Uyghur leaders. These malicious attempts, which include impersonation and fraudulent communications, are viewed as efforts to disrupt their advocacy, particularly as they prepare for the upcoming International Uyghur Forum in 2026.
