VA Tech Wabag shares rose 4% after the company secured a major order from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board. Wabag will develop two energy-efficient wastewater treatment plants in Bengaluru, strengthening its presence in the municipal wastewater treatment sector. The order is valued at over ₹1,000 crore, qualifying as a Mega domestic contract.
