VA Tech Wabag Ltd won a $272 million (₹2,332 crore) contract from the Saudi Water Authority. The project involves designing, constructing, and commissioning a 300 MLD SWRO Mega Desalination Plant in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, to be completed in 30 months. This boosts Wabag's global presence and supports Saudi Vision 2030. Rekha Jhunjhunwala holds an 8.04% stake.
