Gujarat High Court has asked Vadodara civic body to remove encroachment by former cricketer and TMC MP Yusuf Pathan on government land. "The celebrities by virtue of their fame and public presence wield substantial influence on public behaviour," the court said, adding, "granting leniency to such persons despite their [non-compliance] of law gives a wrong message to society."
